IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THE EVENT:

Please be aware that this event WILL have flashing lights and strobe lighting. Please bare this in mind if you or your family have epilepsy or any other light sensitive medical conditions.

Please make sure that you are prepared to get your tickets SCANNED and then SCAN IN with the COVID Tracer App when you first arrive at the event.

We encourage the wearing of masks and will ensure that all our staff will be wearing a face covering. Hand sanitiser will be available.

We require a vaccine passport for illuminate Christchurch entry. Please make sure you have this ready and available for us to scan.

12-year-old and under’s are not required to show a vaccine passport.

What do the tickets include?

Your ticket will include entry into the Illuminate Christchurch Light & Sound Show Walk Through Experience.

Will there be door sales?

Yes, however, it is better to book online last year as we sold out every night last year. Door sales will be $15.

What will happen if we change COVID levels?

At this stage, the event can operate in orange and green. If the region is in red we will look to postpone working around COVID and daylight savings.

As an events company, we are always on the lookout for any level changes and understand that the level system does have to change sometimes. If there is an announcement around this required, we will make sure to keep you updated on our Facebook event page, so make sure to RSVP to keep up-to-date.

Can I smoke at Illuminate Christchurch event?

No. illuminate Christchurch is a smoke-free & vape-free event. We please ask you to refrain from smoking and vaping in the event area. Does my ticket allow me to come on any of the days?

No, it doesn’t. Please make sure to purchase your ticket for the day that you would like to come.

Will there be toilets available?

Yes, Ferrymead Heritage Park has toilets and baby changing facilities.

Is there parking available?

Parking is available, however, it is first in first served. We recommend public transport or car-pooling.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

No, however, we have a range of food vendors to ensure our guests are well fed over dinner time.

Is my time in the event limited?

No, you can stay until closing time.

What ages are welcome at this event?

0-110 years old

Is this a wheelchair and individual needs friendly event?

This event is wheelchair friendly, unfortunately the parking is limited but please make the most of our drop off and wheelchair friendly parks. Everybody is welcome at this event, please be aware of the strobe lights.

What do the tickets include?

  • Viewing of light and sound experiences

Will there be places to take photos with attractions?

Yes there will be!

We will have food available on site for all dietary requirements, so no need to bring your own!

Does my ticket allow me to come on any of the days?

No it doesn’t. Please make sure to purchase your ticket for the day that you would like to come.

Can I bring my own drink?

Yes you can, water and milk is fine. Other drinks will be available to purchase at the event itself from the awesome food vendors

I've selected the wrong date and time. What do I do?

Ticket selection is final, please try to on sell your ticket or gift it to a friend

Will there be toilets available?

For sure. And a parents/change room

Is my time in the event limited?

No! Enjoy 5:45pm-9:30pm on site!

Is there parking available?

There will be some parking available. Carpooling and transport in are recommended.
